bags- CHECK!

all our bags are pack, and we're ready to go...
i actually took pictures of my neat stacks of tees an shorts and boxers.. so i could have like a "before and after" picture thing:) but... just as i wanted to upload the pictures to the computer.. i realised. shoot. i packed the transfer wires into my pompompurin bag in the depths of my luggage.. but it's ok, i'll upload it together with the holiday pics! :) i'm really excited. so is mimi. and nick.

yesterday i helped nick "de-code" his luggage-strap lock. you have to hold on to the button as you change the code. but nick accidentally released the button, setting the code to something he forgot. tsk tsk tsk. so he scurried to daddy for help. of course, daddy couldnt help him.. his fingers are way to big! so i decided to help nick. it's really, actually, very simple! you just need to click the sides while testing out the different numbers. there're only 9 numbers, how hard can that get, right? but this has to be done while the snap button's up, or that, you really will have to try all the combinations 0-0-0 till 9-9-9, that would be a joke:)

believe it or not- mimi and i packed a total of 58 threadless tees, just for 14 days. 58. and mimi still wanted to pack more. for bottoms, i only packed 3 denim shorts and 6 new air-force shorts,we got from the army shop before dinner yesterday. all shorts, because i dont wear jeans. nope. although mom tried to make me wear jeans for tomorrow when we leave. heh! i told mommie that i'd be too uncomfortable..so she said ok- pack whatever you want, so long as you are comfortable:) and meanwhile, mimi's packing like 6 or 7 pairs of HEAVY jeans. seriously! that's one reason i never like jeans- they're so heavy!

the plan so far, is that we'll sleep early today like at 8pm and wake up at 3am:) then we can get ready and leave for T3:) we'll settle down with breakfast and then.....we'll leave!

mom said that she'll have to take care of chloe while we're gone. so mimi kindly bathed chloe last night- or was it night before.. so that chloe wont stink up for the next 2 weeks. she usually gets a weekly bath. but looks like this time, she's gonna have to wait!

HELLO HOLIDAY!

Today daddy's gonna pick up our tickets to sydney! we're going to meet mel and stay till new year's! so i guess WE will be a huge new year's day Present for mommie and daddy! mimi's been planning the itinerary in great detail and we're going to the Blue Mountains Nature Park where there's a wildlife park and there'll be caves, like the Jenolan Caves plus, mimi organised a 4WD (4-wheel-drive) trip! but the BEST thing would be the 8 hour flight from Terminal 3 in Spore! 8 hours- we can really do lots! also, it'll be an added adventure since our flight'll be in the MORNING! I really hope we wont be late like i always am for school.. if only the airport was in the West! but it's ok. we'll probably be sooo excited we dont sleep! just like that day when mimi, mom and i stayed up from 1am - 7am to watch the first 10 episodes of Together, the new chinese show! hhaa.. mimi was definitely gawking at Mr. Shokubutsu. i'm sure.
haha. and i created a WeeMee while waiting for mel on skype.. she didnt turn up but that's ok, because i dressed my WeeMee up like CRAZY! HAA.

i packed mel's luggage for Canberra and sydney and guess what! i ziplocked so many things they looked like the sausages in vacuum-packed bags! xinyi shared with me before her holiday, that she uses a ziplock vacuum.. but i was thinking that that might be expensive and unnecessary. so while packing mel's clothes, i came up with a BRILLIANT IDEA!!! i was just rolling all the Tees into neat rolls and placing them neatly into the large ziplock bags..when...aha! i sealed the bag till 3/4 way through and held tight. then i sat on the "inflated" bag and squeezed the excess air out! it was PERFECT! all the "creases" were intact too! anyway i'm definitely going to pack amelia's, nick's and mine! to think all this started with mel's winning the writing contest! MEL! WE LOVE YOU!!and daddy too. WE LOVE YOU DADDY! p.s. we know this has cost you a bomb!

band was cool-er today:) sharon, yu an and i found out how fun it was playing the sec 1's song: stand by me... just a little different! haha. we totally chineseified it more! since it was already 100%chinese sounding, like jap-pop nah. korean-pop. nah. chinese-pop or something.. so we added in the chinese counting (yi, er, san!), the head bobbing while playing, not to forget the aug2nd trills (gives a really oriental sound!) and the additional "woops" and "yoyo" from desiree..and maybe baoyu and anabel.. hah:) yu an and i figured this song had lots of potential on saturday! during band practice! we were playing it as a band with the sec1s..and then when we reached this section of the piece.. it was too kanto-pop-ish sounding we couldnt bring ourselves to play it..yu an kept casting me looks and all!but for the record, we forced ourselves not to laugh but to play...and today! we played it, as they would call it- chinese to the max. haah.

meanwhile, mnm's are the best. ♥mnm's. get yours today!

just...one...more....DAY!!!

today's the day we will all remember as the day.. kim blogs as a 14-year-old for the last time!! haha. 364 days have finally "creeped" by... ahhha!! i ♥ birthdays...but certainly do not ♥ getting old!

after an afternoon at jurong point, mel, daddy, ben and nick met me with CAKE and NEW SHOES!! then we headed home. much to my surprise...mommie was standing guard at the door with a party popper in her hands...i wasnt looking when "POP" .... :) haha, mommie also had a BALLOON COLONY stuck to the standing lamp:)

i jumped into a pair of comfy boxers with colourful dolphins on them and slipped into my new sneakers! then we had the cake! daddy and i left for gek poh after that..to get little pressies!!
