guess what..

we just went wading. this time, we were more adventurous. we waded in the deep pool :) not the wading pool anymore! the big one! hehe.

we went to the zoo and night safari on saturday. i like otters:) mel likes hedgehogs. they're cute, their little hands and feet stick out of them!

we're going there again next saturday! i'm happy. i just bought my add math book, and my chinese textbooks. they're purple. i would have liked it more if they were pink... ah. but at least it's not blue or green like last year or the year before. i only bought those books. i wasnt too sure if the rest were the right ones. so i'll buy them from tkgs:) i'm kinda excited now. daddy bought my new uniform. he bought 2 sets. so mom said that on the first day of school, mimi and i can wear a new set each. then for the next few days, we can survive on mimi's old ones. :) i cant wait!
hehe. alright. mel's getting grumpy. she wants her computer back. "quick. i've got work to do." yeah. haha. alright. byebye.

ooh...

i forgot... i still have my band uniform. mii wei... could you ask kelley if she wants please? thankie.. hehe.

also, i have the band marching boots, barrette (is this how you spell it?) and other band stuff. of course, all of which are in working condition. in fact, i've only used the boots like..2-3 times? yes. they're polished frequently, so they still have their shine! ooh. boots are size 7 i think... either that or 6half. i'm not too sure. :)

what should i do with my uniform?

i'll be leaving PL...and i have lots of PL shirts and pinafores. (i wanna keep the shorts!)
so i was thinking of selling them... of course, at a cheaper rate!

i have 13 shirts. and 3 pinafores...i wanna keep one, so 2 pinafores. all pinafores are un-altered. DIY. but they all look proportionate. yes they do. i have my badges too. but i wanna keep those.

It amazes me how many school shirts I have:
1. Lee house shirt- hardly used. only for 2 sports days...not faded!
2. Sec 1 I-discover shirt. only used once for sec 1 camp.
3. PL-lite shirt. too small for me, so hardly used as well.
4. PB formal - my favourite PL shirt. Big and comfy
5. PB informal
6. PL celebrates... my mom's favourite
7. Band shirt. my second favourite. i love the floral design above the PL BAND words.
8. Sec 2 camp shirt
9. PE shirt
10.some other shirt
11.PE shirt
12.Mega-camp shirt
13.A shirt that i've forgotten but positive i have. (i was counting last night as i folded them into a bundle)

all thirteen shirts that a PL-lite would have. amazing, isnt it?

PAPAYA MADNESS!!!

you cant believe what i just did!!!
we had our dinner. and then we had papaya.
"aiya. it's too ripe" dad cried.
"i told you! once you buy it, you have to eat it!" mommie replied as she helped herself to one of the chili-red papaya wedges.

i smiled to myself... hehe..

i figured later, that only mommie and i were eating the papaya. mom had 2 wedges. i had one.
there were about 6 wedges left.

"MOM!I'LL CLEAR THE TABLE TODAY!" I exclaimed immediately once everyone left the table.

"ok."

hee. i immediately grabbed the first papaya i saw and sqeezed! ahh.. hehe.
i could feel the cool papaya flesh ooze out between my fingers!
i reached for the next, and the next and ...
yeah. it was quite a mess. but i cleared it. god. that was fun.
but now my hands feel like they've been in the snow for a lo-ong time. like frostbite. kinda itchy too.
hehe.
but it was definitely worth it!

OURS!! hehe. mimi's only fear is the heat. that can be ee-easily solved with a little fan. :) hehe. cant wait to see the look on mel's face! hah. we have ambitious plans too! we want to knock the wall so that it's linked to the dining room. hehe. so when we're hungry, we can just pop out through the glass door that'll keep nick out! >.<

ooh. we went to church yesterday... for the first time in almost a year!
