Yeah! it's the 29th of june!

Hey everybody! this is a video mel created for me:) haha.
p.s. mel.... i KNEW you and mum tricked me into looking out of the window.... arrgh...

yesterday we were out... and mel got all our pictures into the video.. :)

here are some pictures from our outing yesterday:
29th june... my birthday!
bubbles! one of my pressies! "MOOSE BUBBLES" the best thing about it is that .......they're pink!
these were the glow sticks we were playing with yesterday, along with the "hundreds and thousands" of glow-in-the-dark stars... we made a wish with every tiny star that we tossed into a glass vase... it was really.... magical.... haha...
this is GollieRab. Mum and Mr Gnome (my big brother who really resembles a gnome... you'll see!) bought this for me while my sisters and i were enjoying our ice-cream treat... i feel really happy when i see her... and now she's sitting pretty on my flute case:)

BEFORE.................and...AFTER!!!
This was our ice-cream treat at Andersons' i had strawberry and cream, mango, and forest berries (or something...) hehe.. the 3 scoops were such a delight! hhaaa. to think i even finished the "cone-bowl"... haha... oh well...at least nothing was wasted! HAHAHHAHA.... i sound like posh nosh... i know you're smiling mimi! hahaa....
this is the grand, high Mr Gnome.... haaha..
today's pressies....
...and all the fantastic surprises inside... there was a hong bao from mum and dad... a post it note pad and purple calligraphy pen... and the moose, strawberry-cream bubbles! (the bubbles had the same scent as my ice-cream! haha. but they warned: DOES NOT TASTE GOOD. DO NOT DRINK.
hhaa.

hope you enjoyed the video! :)

ONE MORE DAY TO MY BIRTHDAY!!!!! yay!!!!!

it's the start of a new term and we have new teachers...ms lee's our new history teacher... new subjects ....we're doing biology!!!!... new timetables... i LOVE timetables, especially good ones... new friends... from our 3 day 2 night stay at sec2 'we conquer' camp.....new likes and dislikes... new interests ... isnt that kind of the same? ahh....new duties....new stationery... new styles.... new classes... new files... new (i forgot what i wanted to say after my dog showed up by my side) ... new... EVERYTHING.... haha.

anyway... chloe's been shaved. now she looks like a chinese crested! i love chinese crested. they have totally no hair follicles on their body, except for their head and tail! isnt that so cute? hah. a little bald dog with only hair at its ends... haha.... hold on... i'll try to get a picture of chloe's new look up here....

YESS!!!!!! i managed to... ok. yep. she looks like a chinese crested.

alright... now that i got the hang of getting pictures up here, from my phone, i'll add more pics... hehe. this is my lamb. wei qin gave it to me some time last year in term 4, during chinese paper cutting enrichment. i've been thinking of a name for it all this while... and settled on Miami. since it's a lambi... and i was thinking of how my lambi, works with my-ami... and so it became Miami... which sounds like the state in america! haha. it's fun to think like that sometimes... all the ideas kind of link. haha.

now for another picture...

it's one more day to my birthday.. and this morning, i was greeted by a pressie that my sister left on the dining table...

it looked like this:
it was really cool, there was a wooden rabbit pen that stuck out, of the wooden box! haha..

these were the contents...

they were really nice... the little green thing there... is a wooden, (yes, everything was wooden:) ) green alligator-stapler... see the girl in the background? mel painted that onto the pink towel and rolled it into the box too!

<-- this is mel... (we were at the laundromat and i was playing with my phone's camera... say cheese!) haha. mel, you kinda looked like a chipmunk... hahhahaa..

hey... but she's not only a chipmunk, she's IT -savy... haha. (is this how you spell it mel?) haa.. she photoshoped quite a few pictures for fathers' day and put them together into a book... this was one of me and dad. she popped only red, so part of the background and my mouth pops.... as in the colour, pops. hhee:)

this are my new track shoes! even though they're like just a few months old, they've been to places..... they've gone on an adventure to pahang, malaysia, where they bravely endured a 10hr ride on a bus to reach the campsite for megacamp... they've entered the silent, dense jungles of malaysia as well, trudging throught the undergrowth and keeping their owner safe from leech bites.... these loyal and noble pair even know the importance of education! they've been to school, allowing their owner to learn comfortably, in them... compared to my old, flat, sneakers... who refuse to help me stay balanced on a slippery floor. these pair of running shoes have also braved the dark streets and alleys of jurong, with their reflectors picking up any single sight of light... (i used flash to take this picture of my shoes... it was dark in my dad's car...)
these fine, brave pair have a lot in store for them.... their future will be a bright one.... and hopefully they would not need to walk in the dark again...

The Meat Heat

it all started after watching a tv cook show....

"hey... let's make meatloaf.... i like meatloaf.... " i told mum, even though i've never tried it.. hah.
"ok. but we've got to get the stuff first." mum replied.

it took us a really long time, maybe 2 weeks, to get the stuff. not that they were that hard to find. they were common ingredients like meat, bread, mustard, an egg... we were just taking a long time to get them all together and get started on making the meatloaf.

so... two weeks later... ...

"kim, nick'll only be done at 8.30... dad and i will be eating out with nick." mum said. (she planned to give the little * a treat after tennis. of course... he has to have his treat... how else can he maintain his curvaceous figure? (he has curves in all the wrong parts of his body. heh)

"...so kim, why dont you make the meatloaf for the rest at home?" mum continued. good idea. i immediately got mimi and mel to help me put all the ingredients together and pop it into the oven.

an hour later, our first meatloaf was finally done. it looked more like a pie than a loaf. but it was nice. :) .. hey, the smilie here is nice. it has a curvy mouth... hehe.

mel, mimi and i had our share and saved the rest for mum and dad.

it was really tasty and dad enjoyed it:)
:)
:)
:)
i like the smilies as much as i liked the meatloaf. :)

anyway... so we've been making lots of meatloaf since:) yep.

* gramlin

.

it's 5 more days to megacamp. everyone's excited:) we'll be going to pahang and we'll be doing quite a bit of hiking... if i'm not wrong. mum went for the parents' meeting that day and she said that we'll be going to some cave and on a 4-something- buggy :) so wei qin, hwee xian and ruby planned to go together :)

alright. little thing's peeking over my shoulder at my post now. bye!

haha... my first post this year ._.

hi everyone!

i've been too busy to post lately because i had lots of things to do like:

1. joining the sec 1s for orientation, which took up 4 days

2. catching up on work with the class

3. there were band practices (now we're having compulsory sectionals

every week.... fortunately it's not everyday of the week! hehe.)

4. we have sports enrichment every wednesday, which i quite enjoy :)
thankfully i was not put into dancing or fencing or archery... yeah. in other words, i got my 1st choice:) hehe.
5. lots of other stuff which might take a long time to explain.
yeah. also, another reason why i did not blog for a l-o-n-g time was because i didn't know what to write about.

but now i do.

this is De-tail, Chloe's little pal:) and mine too. It's so cute isnt It? hehe. look at this one of It acting cool...
ar..i can't find it. maybe i deleted it by mistake. anyway, you can still see it, by tilting your head to your left, so De-tail looks like It is leaning against a wall.... cool yeah?
anyway this is Chloe in a pot. she loved it. her fur looks really nice in the water. like a polar bear. nice.
ok.. aah...she's so adorable, she's sleeping on the sofa now, among some cushions. imagine this: her fast asleep, dreaming (i think dogs do dream. once i found Chloe whimpering and moving her paws vigorously in her sleep).... way up in the sky.... somewhere over the rainbow, way up high, there's a little doggie, waiting to get some treats.
haha!
i was thinking of dorothy from the wizard of oz. i borrowed the dvd from school last week. we watched it everyday of the week. it was the original version of the show. a classic. you should watch it too. :)
i was quite disappointed, though, when the librarian said that the show was in black and white. but she was WRONG! haha! and i was happy. hehe. very happy. haha......
alright.. hey! what do you think of the new pe shorts? nana said that it wasnt what she'd think it'd be (or something like this) but it was an improvement. i thought so too. :) fiona, however, doesnt like it. i forgot why.
anyway i was quite happy today. i found really suitable tunes for our english creative component :) yep. yipee! haha. i found a total of 6 tunes, and watched a video showing michael jackson and the home alone guy, throwing what seemed like water balloons over their balcony, to the tune: you've got a friend in me. i thought it was really nice. haha.
ok. i've got to go.
till my next post,
i bid thee adieu!

It's Christmas Eve! Hurrah!

Tomorrow's Christmas and i can't wait! haha... this year for Christmas, unlike past Christmas-es, we have a live tree from Sweden! haha... but in Singapore's weather, it cant survive without ice! so everyday we've got to change the ice under the tree! haha.... but i dont really do that... my sister does it... she's rather....efficient. haha. mum said that it was past midnight that day and Amelia was changing the ice. while i was asleep. hehe. mom was... touched...

Tonight, there'll be Midnight mass, and i'm not sure if we're going...... Yesterday was the first time we went to church in like.,..... i dont know...... 7 months? haha. yep. and it was a new church, because we've shifted! yahoo!!!.... but going to a new church isnt all that good.... we went for the evening mass and found out that it was a Chinese one! argh. so we had to put up with the chinese-y tunes... or maybe only I had to put up with it.... Mel was thrilled... "ooh...there's another c-u-r-l-y part... ah--a (up)---ah (down) ---ah (lower) -- ah (the same pitch as the first ah) " ok...it was a little interesting... haha.

i'm finishing the last bits of my homework... the chinese comic about the little prince. i was stuck on it for the whole of December. i couldnt understand a word in the book. but i somehow managed to ...sorta.....finish it.... in the end...... well.....at least , something like it. hah

We've been having lotsa band practices these two months... in preparation for the cca fair in january.

oh...last night, i was amused by this video of the birth of 5 adorable maltese puppies. really amusing. they were so cute. like naked mole rats. haha. squeaking and trying to find their way around... haha. there were 3 parts for that video.. then there was a video of them 1 week old and another 2-3 weeks old and 6-7 weeks and finally 8-9 weeks old. they're soo adorable you'd want to have puppies! i, personally, didnt like the idea of Chloe having puppies, as suggested by... people.... but now i think it's quite alright. haha... ah... but Amelia's still not convinced. haha.

ok.... i think i should finish the comic now... haha. i dont want to leave it undone... haha

Happy Christmas everyone.... and a happier new year!

oh... if you wanna view the video, just go to youtube, type in 'puppies maltese' and click on the video called ' Dog birth of 5 cute puppies'

have fun! haha.

Last week of school's here!

This is our last week of school.... and we'll get our report books back too... We did have lots of fun this term. hah. (i dont feel like blogging anymore... i'm in a really uncomfortable position... Chloe's on my lap and she's trying to jump off and it's not like i dont want her off my lap... she has to stay so that she wont get poked by the broken clay frame, which the orang utana is cleaning up. It fell after being blown off a table-top by the strong wind...hmm...)
Tomorrow we're going to PL primary! haha.... we're going there for the Christmas Service... yay.. :) i'm really looking forward to it, since Rosyth didn't have such stuff... haha... and i can't wait to be inside the hall... i've noticed it's air-conditioned too! ok...now debris is cleared. Doggie can go down and so can i.... bye!
