HURRAH!yippee! HEHE haha...exams are ALL over! oh... math test was super-de-duper easy except for the silly factorisation question... chem test was alright... but i drew the gas jar with a cap on top! :( awww... BUT... look 0.o: H=hydrogen, He=helium, Li= lithium, Be= Beryllium, B= boron, C= carbon, N=Nitrogen, O= oxygen, F= fluorine, Ne= Neon, Na= sodium, Mg= magnesium, Al= aluminium, Si= silicon, P=phosphorus, S= sulfur, Cl= chlorine, Ar= argon, K= potassium, Ca= calcium. hehe. we were all supposed to memorise the first 20 elements of the periodic table! haha. to be honest... i sort of forgotten part of it. i referred to my periodic table to carry on from sodium... ;_;...hehe
I-Discover CAMP
i'm sure almost everyone of you has already had your s1 orientation camp in january, right? however, we just broke camp yesterday, the 19th of May. we camped from the 17th to the 19th of May. we stayed overnight and could only bathe twice. however we were allowed to wash-up in the mornings. haha. did you know that we were given buckets and scoops to bathe with? well, unfortunately, we did... some of us had to wait for our friends to finish bathing till we could bathe (remember Julia)? so some of my friends were washing their hair at the sinks, and rushing into the cubicles to change out of their shampoo-filled clothes... hahaha. anway, the camp was rather enjoyable, other than the sleepless nights we had. oh, the first night, i was getting into my sleeping bag, and i found lots of sand...probably from the p5 camp 2 years ago. the second night, i slept on my sleeping bag as it was really, really hot and if i slept on my sleeping bag, it wouldn't be hard. the next morning, i found myself ( ok... shi min woke me up... ) lying on the bare floor! ahh...haha. so i ended up with a stiff neck. well, our facillitators were nice! haha... they were sec 3s and they accompanied us where-ever we needed to go... oh! Campfire night was interesting, really really interesting. we had our campfire in the air-conditioned hall and our fire was a fan blowing some red and orange salophain paper...haha.kind of pathetic but there was air-con, so we were happy. :) we were all given light sticks and some of us even shaped their into a giant light-ball! campfire was fun, indeed. cya all tmr! >.<

It's back to school tomorrow
Time flies... the holidays passed by too soon! so it's back to school tomorrow, back to lugging those heavy bags ( i don't like stuffing books into my locker...especially on Mondays, when my flute fills the locker) , back to lessons, back to the morning jogs. ARGH! oh and we'll be having malay enrichment every Wednesday after school...aw man... and that will be for an entire hour!
BUT if i look on the bright side, it's gonna be back to new topics( tomorrow is the start of a new term and we'll be doing literature! yeah! bye-bye geography for the year! hurray!) , back to our spacious air-conditioned hall, back to our friends, back to our after-school-activities...and much more! OK...now i can't wait to get back to school! cya!

Happy days are finally here!
Finally...the holidays are here! Happy days await us... yup!
ANYWAY...
for our life lesson last week, we were briefed about community involvement programme, c.i.p. for short. yup, when everyone heard about it, we were picturing ourselves sorting books out in a library- the most common place where students clock in c.i.p. hours. HOWEVER, our school will going to do buddy reading with pupils of xinghua primary and even better- raise funds for an animal shelter called Noah's arc ( if I'm not wrong.) that means we could spend countless hours with animals! so last week, a lady from the shelter brought Princess, the shelter's ambassador, to our school! so we( students from classes1, 2 and 3) were all seated in the chilly AVA theatre, deciding what we all should do to raise funds for the animals. as we were doing that, Princess, was running around us. everyone enjoyed her company and we will be looking forward to meeting more animals! and we can't wait!

on friday, the second of march,2007 , at exactly 1245h, our Geography teacher--we all know her by now she is the one and only: MISS TAN. She entered class with a stack of test papers and her laptop--- clues that immediately told us, students of class 1-3, that she was going to return our geog papers to us or something like that. " Good morning girls...( we replied) .. now , when i call you, please, come forward" miss tan hollered as she took her seat.
Silence filled the class. there was a cold and hostile atmosphere in our classroom. we were terribly afraid. then she called out the first name. the girl then stepped up and miss tan spoke to her. after their little talk, the girl left the classroom as instructed , for her lunch. she was told not to have any interaction with any of us. that made us really, really nervous. this went on for many other girls. they left one by one. my friends and i had been discussing why she was calling our classmates out. we came to a conclusion that she was calling those who had merely failed by a few marks and she was just trying to help them get a few more marks to pass. that was rather kind...actually... anyway, some of my friends and i were rather fortunate not to be called out. but we were told that we might also be unfortunate and not be called out because we failed badly... well we'll have to wait for tomorrow to get our results... we'll all just have to keep our hopes high!

Riddles
here's a riddle for you:
Some are quiet, and some are just loud.
Some are hidden while some are proud.
Some are done shyly, others are bold ones.
There are all sorts of _ _ _ _ _.
_ _ _ _ _ = ?
= FARTS!
ahhhhhhhhhhhhhahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
here's another one:
No legs have i to move with,
No nose have i to breathe with,
No life have i to live or die
And yet i do all three
What am i?
Ans: i am fire!
i've got lots more...but i'll save them for the next time... :)

AS expected, i'm in the school band! you wouldn't believe how many people wanted to play the flute! really... almost all 30 recruits wanted to play the flute but only 4 were chosen in the end: 3 other girls and i. i was chosen, mainly because i could play the flute already and because i have my own flute! and, together with me is isabella who has been playing the flute for 3 years now. oh and on our first practice, while the seniors were teaching the other 2 flautists to play the flute, isabelle and i were figuring out how to play "breaking free" and " the start of something new" and other songs from high school musical...well, it was fun, indeed! ok... gotta go now! i have to revise for my geography quiz tomorrow!
